Have you seen a kite fly ?
If you're watching it from an open plain ground you can see the one who's flying it. But what if you were on one of those tall buildings. You just keep guessing as the kite changes it's position and height. If it flies low then you would imagine it's owner somewhere on a nearby rooftop nearest to the kite, but then it changes orbit, and your guess gets wrong. It's near another building and the calculations have to done again. As the kite resumes height your imagination builds up on a larger orbit. So, it happened just now with the 1998 or2 Asteroid. We just kept wondering. All that excited us in the kite's flight was the buzzing noise of friction when it rubbed past the wind. Similarly when this Asteroid came many of us just stuck glued to our TV / mobile screens listening to the enchanting verses of the orator. We never had the time to wonder what was actually happening.
Imagine an alien 👽 with a head as big as the Himalayas. Were we watching it coming close to our dear beautiful earth, or was it observing us to the minutest of details. Some even say it seemed to be wearing a mask. Should I be making this story more weird and scary ? No but give me a chance of explaining what was going on in my mind when it approached planet earth in the most sinister way.
